Surface line
A thin cut across the print where coating has been scraped away and the mark catches the light.
Pull Arena Standard
Retail packs can hide wear until you open them. Before a Pull Arena card ships, we check it against our Near Mint bar and send the cleanest copy we have in stock.
A Near Mint card still looks like a collector copy — light wear only, not a played deck card. We allow up to 3 points from these categories:
Not allowed: exposed inner layers, soiling, creases, splits, and structural damage

A thin cut across the print where coating has been scraped away and the mark catches the light.
A dull patch of fine abrasion, often from a sleeve or binder, that softens shine without a single deep cut.
A dimple or ridge from contact that compresses the stock but does not split the surface.
Color, gloss, or paper missing along a border or corner from handling.
A factory issue from printing or cutting — off-center borders, extra gloss, roller tracks, or missing ink — not wear from play.
These issues take a card below our shipping standard. We still name them so you can read the photos.
The printed face has worn through so inner paper or foil shows in the artwork or border.
Dirt, oils, or residue left on the surface from handling or storage.
A fold line or raised ridge where the card has been bent.
The surface or layers have opened, peeled, or rippled.
Serious harm to the card — tears, holes, sun bleach, foreign matter, or a limp, weakened stock.
How We Score
Each issue on a card gets a point value. We add those values together to decide whether the copy still meets Near Mint.
Visible only on a very small part of the card.
Easy to notice, but still limited in size.
Covers a sizable portion of the face or back.
Larger or more severe than the three levels above.
